Meet Our Instructor of Technology and Online Learning:Jason Witschey, M.Ed.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Middle Childhood Education, Math (4-9), Social Studies (4-9), Reading (4-9), Language Arts Generalist (4-6) -The University of Akron (2005) Master's Degree in Educational Technology, with K-12 Endorcement - Ursuline College (2010) Google for Education Certified Trainer (2017) About Jason: Jason is currently in his sixteenth year with Nordonia Hills City Schools. He spent six years teaching sixth grade at Lee Eaton Elementary before moving to Nordonia High. Jason currently teaches a course in computer repair, where students service all of the damaged Chromebooks in the district. Jason is the head of the Digital Knights program which offers online curriculum to students. He also spends part of each day troubleshooting technology issues in the high school. Jason helps co-teach the district's Knights of the Tech Table professional development course with fellow colleagues Angela Wojtecki, Kelly Nyzen, and Angela Cottrell. In his spare time, Jason enjoys taking on home improvement projects, watching the Cleveland sports, and spending time with his wife, Christina, son, Landon, and daughter, Gwen. |
