On September 30, 2014 Google announced a revamped Google Apps For Education initiative that is sure to get both teachers and students excited. The biggest take away from this is that Google Apps users will have unlimited Drive storage. In the past users were allocated up to 30 gigabytes of storage in their Google Drive. That restriction has been completely removed, and along with that users can now upload individual files that by themselves take up 5 terabytes of space.
